You hear it all the time in songs, in poems, in writings, even Gibran quoted it in one of his greatest writings called "Love"...
Sometimes I wonder if it is better for one never to fall in love at all. But even I could not bring myself to such conclusion.
The quote from an earlier entry keeps on coming back to me...
If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. And if they don't, they never were...The philosophy of what to do with your love can be very confusing. On one hand it says to let go, and if it comes back, it'll be yours. One the other hand, it says to never let go once you've found what you want, as suggested by the lyrics of a famous song by McCartney "Hey Jude"...

We may not want to face the rest of our lives questioning "what if I've gone that extra mile, waited that extra minute..." that is not realistic at all..come on..You will know from the very begining if its not meant to be..so let it be gone..you'll eventually fall for someone else, and maybe this time, you're gonna really be in love..Now..think of it as only an infatuation..its only a temporary feeling of love..anyway, having said that, I'm not quite the right person to be saying all these things about love..I'm just as screwed up as anyone else when it comes to the matter of heart..Be patient..Let love be your energy - by robbie william..McCartney has made such a big mistake by asking Jude to hold on to that girl..you should listen to their song..'let it be' instead..hahaha..Just pulling your legs bro..jan marah aa..hehe
the problem is, my friend, that people seldom know if it is going to work or not... or else who would put effort in such futile things just to get heartaches in return, right?
and most people I know would not give up until they see bones and blood... I guess the name for that is perseverance.
but the beauty of falling in love is there in the courting, and even if it doesn't work, at least that path that he/she has walked through would have shown him/her a little bit more about life...
I had my share of ups and downs in this, and none of those heartbreaking experiences I would exchange for the world... for they made me who I am today... no?
