uninvited
you left
without a goodbye

yet your brief stay made so much
gave reason to life
and what it means to have it

in desolation

for grace

you left
so I can know that grace
when pressed
when persecuted
when struct down
crushed, abandoned, destroyed

life
may be the least i could offer
