pictorial report: 7 days ago.........

This year was started with a gusto to turn over a new leaf and leave sedentary lifestyle behind, and what better way to act upon that new year resolution than to flag it off with a morning jog on New Year Day itself... okaylah, 3 days into the New Year. So off we went, Team Overweight Luyang (minus one) to Tanjung Aru beach, all in our shorts and only I in my running shoes (actually dock shoes) together with my new SONY Cyber-shot DSC-T77 Mocha colour, just in case we feel like cam-whoring... which we certainly did.

One for the road.......

And one when we arrive... we certainly don't waste time.

We wanted to jog, but then we could not take pictures properly, so we decided to power walk instead... The plan was to exercise, nobody said we should not compromise, heh.

Peculiar things we see on the beach during power walking... one too many dead fish.

And sand crabs...

That sense of achievement expressed by Ben.

One too many Friendster style photos...

Dead crab on the log...

Sin Chan would have loved this, sand sculpture by (don't know who). I think it was trying to show us its 'morning inspiration' masterpiece...

The beach was packed-infested by school kids enjoying the last days of their long holiday...

Sabahans can sure appreciate art... this one on the tree is a sculpture called "recycling"...

Apa kian ne'?

Orchid

We have the exact same picture in our old album when we were little, taken with the same snail... imagine how old this playground is.

Ah, the evidence of a popular New Year Practice, to throw away old underwear as a sign of throwing away bad luck...

And since one other new year resolution is to never miss a breakfast (as advised by the diet book) so we obediently headed to Tg Aru old shops to get breakfast.

Nah kau, hello sexy figures 2009! Heh.
